New Here?
What can you expect when you visit Highway Tabernacle?

Here are a few facts about Highway Tabernacle that will help you:
The dress is mixed/casual. You will not feel out of place if you choose to dress a little formal or just come as you are.

The main gathering is Sunday morning, 10:00 am, at 1801 Spring Garden Street, Philadelphia.

Enter at the large red doors at the corner of Spring Garden and 18th Streets.

Parking is free on Sundays and can be found on Spring Garden Street. Or, you can park for free in the Electricians Union parking lot at 1719 Spring Garden Street. This lot is only about a hundred feet from the church.

Our praise and worship time is a blend of contemporary and classic Christian music.

As an Assemblies of God Pentecostal church, we encourage expressive worship including praise and the lifting of our hands to God.

We have nursery care (infants through age 3), and children’s church (4- through 12-year-olds) which takes place during the message (after the singing).

There is a message from the Bible which focuses on connecting the then and there of the Scripture with the here and now of our lives.

The service is usually over around 11:30, and we often end with a time of prayer followed by fellowship.

We love guests! After all, we were all guests ourselves at one time!

Other good info:

We meet for prayer (all welcome) at 9:00 am each Sunday, and ask people to come in through the door by the playground on 18th Street.

We begin with pre-service worship on Sunday mornings in the main sanctuary at 9:45 am.

Thursday night is Family Night with something for each age group. The adults gather in different groups for Bible study.
